What is CIWEM?

The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) is an independent multi-disciplinary professional and examining body for scientists, engineers, other environmental professionals, students and those committed to the sustainable management and development of water and the environment.

What does CIWEM do?

CIWEM represents its members, and its role is outlined by its Royal Charter. Our outputs include conferences, local events, publications, policy work, liaison with other bodies, training and education, networking and sharing good practice. We have a very diverse membership from all areas of the global environment sector – ecologists, engineers, senior managers, air quality modellers, consultants, civil servants, academics and many other types of post holder.

Does CIWEM have a view on environment sector issues?
